Sports massage that gets to the root of it
Hands-on, results-focused treatment for tension, injury and recovery. Whether you're training hard, sitting at a desk all day, or carrying an old niggle, each session is built around what your body needs.

Treatment with a purpose
Sports massage is more than relaxation. It's a targeted approach that works into the muscles and soft tissue causing your pain or holding you back, easing tension, improving circulation and helping you move freely again.
You don't have to be an athlete to feel the benefit. I treat runners and gym-goers alongside people who simply want to feel less stiff, sleep better and get through the day without aching.
- Chronic tension and tightness
- Sports and training recovery
- Injury rehabilitation and prevention
- Restricted movement and mobility
- Neck, shoulder and back pain
- Stress, burnout and poor sleep
Myofascial cupping, when it helps
Myofascial cupping is one of the tools I can bring into your sports massage, not a separate treatment or an add-on. Using suction cups to gently lift and decompress the soft tissue, it can help release stubborn tightness, ease restricted movement and encourage blood flow to areas that need it.
I'll use it within a session where it suits what your body needs, at no extra cost. Just ask, or mention it when we talk through your treatment, and I'll work it in.

I'm so grateful for the unbroken night's sleep she gave me.

I can't recommend her highly enough. I've struggled for a while to find the right sports massage therapist, especially as a bigger lad, and I've always felt more comfortable with a female therapist. From the start, she made me feel completely at ease. She listened properly, gave clear and helpful advice, and was very honest and straightforward. No nonsense, just professional, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful.
I had the 60-minute deep reset with Em and she was absolutely amazing. She discussed my problems and recommended areas to work on. I had never had a sports massage before, and after just one treatment I feel so much relief after years of tightness and discomfort. Very good value for money, extremely knowledgeable, kind and friendly. Definitely recommend Em!
My first session with Em and certainly won't be my last. We had a brief chat and then continued with my session, and I came out feeling amazing and wanting more. Em was so polite and friendly, and it felt so warm and welcoming. Would recommend Em to anyone and everyone.
I had been in pain for three weeks, and after visiting Em I can now look right without giving myself a headache. I'm so grateful for the unbroken night's sleep she gave me. She's very professional and very good at making you feel at ease, let alone how good she actually is. 100% recommend.
Excellent sports massage with Emily. She addressed the causes of my aches and pains and knew exactly what to do, which was not obvious to me. Highly recommended, and I've already scheduled my next visit. Feeling much looser and more mobile today. Thanks!
First time with Move & Mend With Em after a friend recommended her. After the massage I immediately felt a difference. I'd been suffering with neck and shoulder pain to the point where I could barely turn my head, and that afternoon I was turning with ease. Em was really knowledgeable and informative. I'll definitely be back. Thank you!
Sports massage questions
How long should a sports massage be?
It depends on what you need. A 30-minute session suits one focused area, 45 to 60 minutes covers two or three areas comfortably, and 90 minutes allows a full-body treatment. If you are unsure, 60 minutes is the most popular choice for good reason.
How will I feel after a sports massage?
Most people feel looser and lighter straight away. It is also normal to feel a little tender for 24 to 48 hours, much like the day after a good workout. Drinking water and moving gently helps. There is more in the first-session guide.
How soon before an event should I book?
For a deeper treatment, aim for at least three to five days before your event so your body has time to settle. A lighter, flushing session the day after can help recovery. See how often to book for more.
